We are a  Blues Band based out of Chicago's SW Suburbs. 
BAND REQUIREMENTS: All that we require is an area of 8ft by 16ft min. We own our own sound equipment and backline, but will we will work with any club or venue, sound requirements.







The Crosstown Band was born in the summer of 2001 when Lefty Collins brought guitar player Mike Martos out to one of his Jam Nights where he met Mark Flanagan, a singer/harmonica player looking to build a blues-rock band. Their mutual love of the blues and similar tastes in rock were grounds for instant bonding and they set out in search of a rhythm section. The first lineup consisted with players from throughout the Chicago land area. Anywhere the band played, someone had to come all the way across town, hence the name “Crosstown”.

While Mike and Mark remain the heart and soul of the band, from time to time there have been changes in personnel and with each new incarnation the band consistently gets better! This band is dedicated to a tight, energetic show and strives to keep the music pumping and the dance floor full. Mark Flanagan’s solid vocals and unique harp style are enhanced by Mike's gutsy blues-rock guitar and the keyboard virtuosity of Dave Mathis. The backline is held down by Jim Williams on Bass and Larry Stolti on Drums, whose years of playing together has developed in them an unspoken form of communication that goes beyond “tight”!

Crosstown thrives by having fun on stage. The band is frequently joined by accomplished guest artists who lend their own distinctiveness to the Crosstown sound, so you’ll never get tired of the “same old thing.” Capable of providing their own sound equipment for anything from a small club to a festival, this band really delivers!
