THE BAND J.A.B. Just Another Band (featuring the members of the band HITT ROAD) I want to introduce “ not just another band ”! The band has 1 guitar/vocals (Fast Eddie) , bass guitar/vocals, and drummer/vocals (Big Dawg) and one bass player/vocals (Crazy Vic). The band plays three one - hour sets. The 1st set takes you cruisin’ the early 60’s with the ‘AM radio rock n roll’ songs. The 2d set has you groovin’ with the late 60’s & the 70’s sounds of Wishbone Ash & J.C. Mellencamp, then with Foghat & Steppenwolf they rock on out the 3rd set. All the music interpreted on stage is done with personal styles and talents developed with over 43 yrs of experience. And when these guys play the blues, it’s a bonus to the program. They can also “romance” the crowd with slow songs such as Bring It On Home, Stormy Monday, Feel Like Makin’ Love by Bad Company or the old classic As Tears Go By.
The band is performing all over Southern Illinois from Vandalia to Marion and Evansville to Du Quoin and more. The band has worked very hard this year trying to get around to all the bars as requested. We book 3 months ahead of time and it is NOW time to work on the ‘Winter Tour 2007 - 08’.
